Notice is hereby given that the Washington County Public Works Committee will hold a public hearing on Washington County's 2027 Specialized Transportation Assistance Program application on Thursday, November 19, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in Room 1019 of the Washington County Herbert J. Tennies Government Center, West Bend, Wisconsin.

The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment on Washington County's proposed application for approximately $418,283 in funding under Wis. Stat. § 85.21 for:

• Shared-Ride Taxi Service
• Interfaith Caregivers volunteer transportation
• Purchase of four (4) ADA-accessible bariatric vans

Interested persons may provide comments at the hearing or submit written comments by November 18, 2026, to Washington County Transit Services, 900 Lang Street, West Bend, WI 53090, or by email to [email protected]. Transportation to the hearing may be arranged by calling (262) 338-2908.
