Shared Ride Taxi General Information

The Washington County Shared-Ride Taxi Service provides public curb-to-curb and door-to-door shared-ride services throughout Washington County and into the northern portion of Menomonee Falls  (Menomonee Falls service area boundaries include Maple Road to the west; Pilgrim Road to the east and Menomonee Avenue to south) . Additional pick-up and drop-off points in Menomonee Falls are Community Memorial Hospital, Gloria Dei Day Care, and the Menomonee Falls Park and Ride lot.
Note: The City of West Bend and the City of Hartford have their own public taxi services. Residents traveling within either of those cities should continue to contact the municipal taxi service.

Monday-Friday 5:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Saturdays 5:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Sundays 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Saturdays 5:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Sundays 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

No Service Days

The Washington County Shared Ride Taxi service does not operate on the following days:
New Year's Day
Easter Sunday
Memorial Day
Independence Day (July 4th)
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day

Now Connecting with Milwaukee County Transit Services (MCTS)!

Washington County Shared Ride Taxi riders can now connect with MCTS in Menomonee Falls at 124th street & Bradley. Connecting services are MCTS Blue Line (to Downtown Milwaukee), Route 88 (Brown Deer Road), and Milwaukee County Transit Plus (paratransit services). An additional fare is required to use MCTS transit services. See www.ridemcts.com for detailed fare information.

  • Seniors are those age 60 and over, and disabled of all ages.
  • Adults are any persons age 18-59 years.
  • Students are five (5) years through high school.
  • Children age 4 and under will ride free, but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • $3.00 surcharge for trips into Ozaukee County, arrange return trips with Ozaukee County Shared Ride Taxi.
  • Purchase a $20 Discounted Punch Card (Value $23) from the drivers.
  • Purchase a $60 Discounted Punch Card (Value $70) from the drivers.
