On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 2:54 PM, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a house fire, at 2036 CTH K in the Town of Erin, Washington County. Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies, WI State Patrol, and the Hartford Fire Department responded to the scene.
A neighbor called 911 and advised that her neighbor’s house was on fire. No people or pets were inside the residence. One of the homeowners was on scene. The neighbor reported that the house was fully engulfed in flames. Hartford Fire personnel arrived on scene and began fire suppression efforts.
The residence is a large multi-story single family home built in 1985. The residence is approximately 4,400 square feet, valued at approximately $1.5 million. The residence is a total loss.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Hartford Fire Department and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
The Hartford Fire Department was assisted by the following fire departments, Germantown, Slinger, Allenton, St. Lawrence, West Bend, Ashippun, Iron Ridge, Kohlsville, Neosho, and Lifestar Ambulance.
No fire or police personnel were injured.
