KEWASKUM, WI – Washington County, in partnership with American Companies, is proud to announce the grand opening of Regal Place Condominiums, a Next Generation Housing Initiative development. The ceremony will take place on Monday, November 17, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will celebrate the latest step toward expanding attainable homeownership opportunities for local residents and workers.
“It’s gratifying to see Next Generation Housing’s impact on our community,” said County Executive Josh Schoemann. “What began as a concept just a few years ago, to now seeing families make these neighborhoods their home, the American Dream is still very much alive. Regal Place showcases the high-quality craftsmanship of American Companies’ construction, and together with Regal Ware and Washington County, the power public-private partnerships can have in providing a means for more families to attain home ownership.”
The public is invited to attend the grand opening event, where they will have an opportunity to tour a completed home and experience firsthand the craftsmanship, modern amenities, and thoughtful design that define this new residential community. Attendees will get an exclusive look at how the development reflects the goals of the Next Generation Housing Initiative by building owner-occupied, high-quality, attainable homes designed to meet the needs of the community. Representatives from Washington County and American Companies will be on hand to answer questions and share insights about the project’s vision and future phases.
“It is a proud moment for our team to officially welcome residents into the Regal Place Townhomes. What was once the historic Regal Ware site has now been transformed into a vibrant new community of owner-occupied homes. Our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and collaboration with the Village of Kewaskum, Regal Ware, Washington County, and the EDWC has guided every step of this build. Thank you to everyone who believed in this vision — we look forward to seeing families make this place their home,” said Kraig Sadownikow, CEO and President of American Companies.
Regal Place is the third of four developments to break ground as part of Washington County’s Next Generation Housing Initiative, launched in 2021. The initiative aims to create 1,000 new owner-occupied housing units by 2032, addressing the region’s growing need for attainable homeownership and sustainable community growth. Once completed, Regal Place will include 48 homes available for purchase starting at $309,900. The owner-occupied townhomes are being constructed on the former Regal Ware Headquarters site which in recent years moved operations to Milwaukee.
Ryan Reigle, CEO of Regal Ware, describes that “Regal Place represents more than the next chapter in Kewaskum’s growth — it’s a continuation of Regal Ware’s legacy of craftsmanship, community, and care for people. This land is where our company’s story began, and it’s meaningful to see it transformed into a place where new families can build their own stories. The impact of this project reflects the spirit of the many individuals, past and present, who have helped shape Regal Ware and the community we’re proud to call home.”
Speakers will include Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann, President and CEO of American Companies Kraig Sadownikow, Regal Ware Chairman and CEO Ryan Reigle, and Village of Kewaskum President Fuzz Martin. The event will be located on the site of the development at 1675 Reigle Drive in Kewaskum from 3:00-4:00 p.m. on November 17.  Units will be open for viewing until 4:30 p.m.
