Geographic Information Systems
A division of the Information Technology Department, GIS:
- Provides geospatial data maintenance and analysis, mapping services and support to all county departments.
- Maintains information related to parcels, roads, address points, shoreland zoning, surface water and elections.
- Manages projects to acquire ortho imagery, LiDAR and topographic mapping.
- Maintains web maps and apps to make land information publicly accessible.

To create and maintain a countywide framework of shared geographic information that conforms to standards enabling data sharing and collaborative decision-making.
