NOTICE:

In compliance with the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals’ decision in Senne v. Village of Palatine, 695F3d597 (7th Circuit, 2012), and the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act (“DPPA”), 18 U.S.C. §2721 et.seq., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office is no longer releasing personal information under the DPPA unless it falls under a permissible use. Personal information obtained from the Department of Motor Vehicles, including an individual’s date of birth, drivers license number, social security number, home address, telephone number, photograph and medical or disability information is prohibited from disclosure unless one of the permissible uses applies. Permissible uses are listed in 18 U.S.C. 2721 (b).

Residential Fire - Town of Kewaskum
10/14/2024
On October 14, 2024 at 11:26 am, the Washington County Sheriff's Office Communications Center took a report of an active kitchen fire at a town of Kewaskum residence located at 3404 Hwy 28. An adult homeowner had observed flames in the kitchen just prior to dialing 911. Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Kewaskum Fire personnel were immediately dispatched to the residence.

10/13/2024 Residential Structure Fire in the Town of Farmington
10/13/2024
On 10/13/2024 at 7:41pm, the Washington County Sheriff's Office Communications Center took a report of a residence on fire on Trading Post Trail near County Hwy A. A passerby reported that flames were visible from the attic/roof area. Fillmore Fire and Deputies were subsequently dispatched to the scene. Fillmore Fire quickly upgraded the response to the MABAS Box level.

10/11/2024
On 10/11/24 at 5:35pm, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center took a 911 call from a homeowner, who reported, their garage was on fire at 5861 Monches Rd in the Town of Erin. Washington County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and the Richfield Fire Department were subsequently dispatched to the scene.

Stolen Vehicle High-Speed Pursuit Ends with Arrest

Town of Wayne, Wi – On Thursday, September 19th at 11:02 PM, deputies responded to a report of a stolen Ford F150 from the 6900 block of Farm Lane in the Town of Wayne. Utilizing GPS tracking, the vehicle's owner directed Washington County deputies to the 2700 block of State Highway 28, where the suspect had attempted to steal another vehicle.

On 9/18/24 at 5:41pm, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center took a 911 call of a reported garage fire at 3770 Teri Lane in the Town of Hartford. Washington County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Hartford Fire were subsequently dispatched to the scene.

ATV Crash with Injury

On Friday, September 13th, 2024, at 8:53 PM, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a crash involving an All-Terrain Vehicle at the intersection of Arthur Rd and Cty Tk U in the Town of Hartford. The crash was reported by a passerby. Deputies with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene along with rescue personnel from the Hartford Fire Department.

On 09/11/2024 at 3:49pm, the Washington County Sheriff's Office Communication Center took report of a vehicle versus semi-truck accident on Cty Tk M near Trading Post Trail in the Town of Trenton. Deputies and Newburg Rescue were subsequently dispatched to the scene.

On 9/11/2024 at 4:23pm, the Washington County Sheriff's Office Communication Center took a 911 call reporting a farm accident at 2742 Hillside Rd in the Town of Polk. Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Richfield Fire and Rescue responded to the scene.

08/31/2024 Serious Injury Mountain Bike Accident

On 08/31/2024 at 1:45pm, the Washington County Sheriff's Office Communication Center received a 911 call reporting that a subject had been involved in a mountain bike accident while utilizing the trails at Heritage Trails County Park, located in the Town of Polk. The caller stated that the patient was bleeding from the face and was struggling to breath. Deputies, Lifestar Rescue and Slinger Fire were subsequently dispatched to the scene.

Two vehicle crash

On Monday, August 19th, 2024, at 2:50PM, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a two vehicle crash located on Hy 41 south bound, north of Mohawk Rd. in the Town of Wayne. Deputies responded along with personnel from Wisconsin State Patrol, Kewaskum Fire, Kohlsville Fire, and West Bend Intercept.

Burglary Suspect Apprehension
08/17/2024
On August 17, 2024, at approximately 2:02 a.m., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residential burglary in progress in the 5300 block of State Highway 175 in the Town of Addison. The homeowner reported that an intruder was inside her residence and subsequently fled the scene in a vehicle.
