County Clerk’s Office Announces Additional Quarterly Office Hours on Saturdays
West, Bend, WI – The Washington County Clerk’s Office will offer additional office hours from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on the third Saturday in January, April, July, and October, beginning July 20, 2024.
“Implementing office hours outside normal business hours will benefit the public by providing Saturday hours that are more convenient for those who work weekdays,” said County Clerk Ashley Reichert.
Current hours of operation follow a “4-10s” schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and are closed on Fridays.

The County Board approved an 18-month pilot program for the “4-10s” hours in April of 2023 after the County Clerk relayed the success of extended office hours in Hartford from 2018 until 2020. The County Clerk staff determined that 43% of all appointments during this time were during extended hours between 7:00-8:00am and 4:30-5:30pm. Currently, approximately 40% of all County Clerk’s office appointments remain in the 7:00-8:00 a.m. and 4:30-5:30 p.m. timeframes.
