WASHINGTON COUNTY IS HOSTING A

USED TIRE COLLECTION IN THE FALL OF 2025!

This two-day tire collection provided an opportunity for area farmers and local residents to dispose of used tires, knowing that they will be properly recycled.  Piles of waste tires, whether on the farm or your backyard become a breeding ground for pests, a source of groundwater pollution, and a problem when used tires are illegally dumped in road ditches, edge of farm fields, along fence lines and other areas. Not to mention that disposing and recycling of tractor tires can be challenging because of their composition, made with tougher rubber and extra metal.

2025 disposal fees applied; the cost to drop off a tire will depend on its size.  The cost per tire, not on a rim, will range from $3.00 for basic car tires up to $35.00 for very large farm tires.  For pricing see below, watch for more information on the County’s Facebook page or call 262.335.4445.
