Glacier Hills
Glacier Hills County Park opened in 1977 and is 140 acres of mostly forest with approximately 1200 feet of frontage on Friess Lake. The park is located in the village of Richfield at 1664 Friess Lake Rd, Hubertus, WI 53033 which is just south of Holy Hill. The park has its own chapel and a large reception hall. There are several trails which have views of the lake, glacier formed kettles, and several ponds. Glacier Hills also has nine cabins available to rent for the night with the most recent cabins being installed in the summer of 2022.
Glacier Hills is located on an inter-lobate moraine. This was formed between ten to twenty thousand years ago when the Green Bay and Lake Michigan Glacier Lobes butted into each other and when they receded caused the Kettle Moraine.
