Fatal accident

On Friday, January 7th, 2022, at 7:54PM, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a vehicle crash on Highway 45 northbound just south of Highway 60 in the Village of Jackson. Deputies responded along with Jackson Police and Wisconsin State Patrol. Personnel from Jackson Fire Department also responded.

Upon arrival, a vehicle was found to have been in a severe rear-end accident with semi- tractor trailer. A 49 year old city of West Bend man was located deceased in the vehicle.

Highway 45 northbound has been shut down in the area since 8:00PM. The Washington County Sheriff’s crash recon team responded to the scene to investigate. The crash remains under investigation.
