Why a Trail Pass?

All proceeds from Trail Pass sales directly support Heritage Trails County Park and the mountain bike trails. Funds will be reinvested in:

  • New trail construction
  • Ongoing trail maintenance
  • Enhancing the overall rider experience
  • Promoting sustainable park management practices
  • Park infrastructure and events

By purchasing a Trail Pass, riders are investing in the park’s future and helping ensure long-term access to a high-quality, well-maintained trail system.

How will pilot year funds be invested?

This was discussed at the County's Land Use and Planning Committee as follows:

  • Cover implementation costs of the pilot program (YTD: $______)
  • Consider funding for a park plan to assess infrastructure conditions for desired park amenities
  • Consider funding for return line as scoped by Metro Mountain Bikers
