Authority: Sergeant Scott Hanson

On November 16, 2025, at approximately 12:00pm the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received several 911 calls reporting a vehicle vs residential home on County Highway H, in the Town of Farmington. The initial caller reported that one subject was laying on the ground injured, and that three subjects had been inside of the vehicle that struck the house.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office along with the Wisconsin State Patrol responded to the scene. The Village of Kewaskum was also requested to assist with shutting down County Highway H. Emergency personnel from the Fillmore Fire Department, and Newburg Rescue were requested. Prior to the arrival of dispatched emergency personnel, a member of the Waubeka Fire Department came upon the crash, and recognizing the seriousness of the injuries requested West Bend Intercept, and Flight for Life to the scene.

The crash investigation determined that a west bound vehicle occupied by three subjects traveling to work together left the roadway when the driver and rear passenger had a verbal disagreement. The vehicle traveled through the ditch line, became airborne, and struck the residence several feet off the ground. The driver and front seat passenger who sustained minor injuries during the crash then extricated the rear seat passenger who was seriously injured. The residence was occupied at the time of the crash, however no one inside was injured as a result of the crash.

The residence sustained significant damage due to the impact; however, the damage estimate is unknown at this time. County Highway H was closed for approximately three and a half hours to facilitate crash reconstruction, and vehicle removal. The injured passenger was transported to Froedtert Wauwatosa with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation by the Washington County Sheriffs Office.
