Purchasing Division
Mission Statement: To procure what the County needs at the best price.
How To Do Business With Washington County
The Purchasing Division is the conduit between the supplier community and County Departments as various procurement needs arise within the County. Typically, County purchasing is conducted using competitive solicitation processes connecting suppliers to County Departments.
Depending on the procurement, notices for bids or proposals may be listed in the Legal Notice section of the West Bend Daily News and construction projects are also published in the Daily Reporter contracting newspaper.
Firms are also welcome to contact the purchasing office to learn about contracting opportunities that may be coming up. Contractors interested in bidding on county projects are welcome to complete and submit the Bidder's Qualification Statement. Instructions for completing and submitting the statement are included within the Bidder's Qualification Statement form.
Statements are kept on file for the calendar year and contractors are encouraged to complete and submit a new statement annually.
