On 9/18/24 at 5:41pm, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center took a 911 call of a reported garage fire at 3770 Teri Lane in the Town of Hartford. Washington County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Hartford Fire were subsequently dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival of Hartford Fire, a 24ft by 45ft detached garage was located with visible smoke coming from an upper lofted area of the garage. The Hartford Fire Department was able to quickly contain the fire to the lofted area of the building and extinguished the fire. 

The total lost between the building and property is estimated to be approximately $20,000.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Hartford Fire Department.
